Our first year of CSA offerings include a variety of small good and bacon packs from 6kg to 12kg across the course of the year.  We also offer fresh cuts of pork in packs totaling 10-40kg in the calendar year.

Amber Creek Farm has been selling pork since 2013 and 2018 is our first CSA year.  Our CSA is currently made up of 75 families. 
As a new CSA farm, but having been selling pork for a period of time prior I think it was important to know how to structure packs that were appealing to families, couples and singles but also worthwhile for the farm.  Working in conjunction with other local farms who are offering CSA shares is also a beneficial and FUN way to both market and drop off the shares.

My favourite part of the CSA community, is just that, the community.  The fellow farmers we are sharing drop offs with, the hosting families that welcome us into their homes, and the happy, invested, interested and understanding families that believed in us and our produce to sign up a year in advance.  It takes farming, which typically can be quite an isolating job/lifestyle and makes it very communal and enriching.
